For me, photography is not about recording what is in front of the camera. It is about discovering what others may pass by.

Whether I am photographing wildlife at sunrise, the streets of Chicago, a beloved pet, or a quiet moment between people, I am drawn to images that tell a story, evoke an emotion, or reveal beauty in the ordinary.

My goal is simple: to create photographs that encourage us to slow down, look closer, and see more.

After a lifetime of caring for patients as an optometrist, photography has become another way of helping people see the beauty of the world.
